Magister UT is a young Italian brand with creative vision and great enthusiasm for providing elegant contemporary lifestyle.

In 2011 Rupert Stockinger and Leo Zhu met at Cranfield University in the UK. Leo had rich resources on furniture industry in China and Rupert had forward-thinking ideas on furniture design. Together they envisioned a brand that mixes traditional silhouettes with modern shapes and contemporary ideas.

While Leo was pushing forward his furniture business in China, Rupert continued his studies at the bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Combining these experiences, the two realized their idea of MagisterUT -a furniture brand based in Milan and focused on creating contemporary furniture that stands the proof of time.

In 2017 the Italian contemporary artist Sarah Merle joined the company and the Chinese designer Judy Lv joined in 2018. Their creative imagination and passion for contemporary elegant furniture is constantly pushing forward the creative vision of Magister UT
